Tripnotic feat. Avarice – The Struggle – taken from the EP Survivor (FLTLRLB159)

October 29, 2018 by Donnie

Genre-bending producer/DJ Tripnotic delivers his newest material with much gusto. Known for his unorthodox approach to the production he seemingly returns to his trip-hop roots on his new project.  Teaming up with US-based rapper Avarice on the cinematic opener “The Struggle”, he delivers politically charged rhymes over a Bristol influenced gloomy backdrop. The combination of a militant repetitive beat, a heavy piercing bassline, and the prophetic recital puts the song in a sub-genre of its own, where East Coast US Rap and UK Electronica coexist in perfect harmony.

“The Struggle” is taken from Tripnotic’s new EP Survivor
