The Neighborhood – A Little Death

December 26, 2012 by deadendhiphop

I was a little confused upon pushing play on The Neighborhood’s B-side to “Let It Go”, “A Little Death” with it not really being a full hip hop song. Granted, DEHH doesn’t just stay in it’s own sandbox and are more than willing to post music outside of hip hop as you’ve seen with posts and reviews of The xx. Listening to “A Little Death”, I can actually hear a hip hop artists no a track like this such as Quest or Lupe…someone in that lane. Having said all of that, this is a good song and one that I think you all will like.

Formed by five friends in August 2011, The Neighbourhood are set to release their debut album, which was recorded in L.A. during the summer of 2012, in the spring of next year. Take a listen to the track below.
