Lead And Be Legendary (LABL), is a new, indie music company based in Detroit and the creative spawn of hip-hop artist Nametag and hometown turntable legend DJ DDT. LABL is a platform for artists who are willing to push the borders of artistry without having to answer to the whims of a corporate interest. To demonstrate this principle, Nametag completed a 5 part freestyle series titled “W.I.T.H.I.N” (Who In The Hell Is Nametag). This spawned the term, “mixtaEP”, and “Lead And Be Legendary: The MixtaEP” will be the first of many.
