From 1996 to 2000 Nastee was the head engineer at The Cutting Room in NYC and witnessed quite a few classic moments in hip-hop history. He had the pleasure of working with everyone from Mobb Deep to Wu-Tang and Black Star to The Roots. He was the first to hear Prodigy say “I put my life time in-between the paper’s lines” and watched a few incredible beatsmiths, including Alchemist and Just Blaze have their records in played in rotation all over the world. For The Resume, Nastee puts together a mixtape of a sample of the work that he’s done during his time spent at The Cutting Room and it only costs an email.
