LBO – Start Fresh

March 22, 2013 by deadendhiphop

lbo-oldsoul

At just 18 years-old, Long Island native LBO is making a name for himself as a rising young lyricist who’s wise beyond his years.  As an avid beat-boxer, LBO composed his first song at the age of ten, citing his lyrics as an ‘emotional outlet that was incomparable to the sensation of anything else.’  Since then, LBO has become accomplished and earned a following for shredding instrumentals on numerous freestyle tracks.

LBO returns with the second single from his debut, Old Soul.  The song, which is produced by 5 Star Beatz, illustrates LBO’s knack for wordplay as he maneuvers through the laidback beat with a confident flow.  The Long Island spitter urges listeners to reflect on their past and say hello to the future as he rhymes, “I’ve been thinking, that this ink pen will help these words sink in to your skin like a tatt as you blinking.”
