Are you interested in writing for Dead End Hip Hop, look no further because the time is now!
In October of 2010, we at Dead End Hip Hop splashed onto the YouTube scene with our video reviews. After that we started doing Hip-Hop Discussions and now here we are in 2016 with Ask DEHH, our own site, a podcast, we’ve interviewed high caliber hip-hop acts such as Oddisee, Clear Soul Forces, Run the Jewels and more. This year we’re trying to take things to another level, we’ve locked down YouTube, we’ve got over 20K followers on Twitter, now we’re trying to lock down Hip-Hop Journalism and we want YOU to be a part of it.
At DeadEndHipHop.com we’re looking for motivated writers wanting to post reviews, features, interviews, music and help us grow. This is a good chance to network with other writers and artists in Hip-Hop, have a big name on your resume, sharpen your skills as a writer and write about the biggest genre of music and push the culture of hip-hop forward. No previous hip-hop journalism experience required just a passion to write and push the genre forward.
If you’re interested in writing for us, send a short bio (at least a paragraph) detailing your writing history and why you want to write for Dead End Hip Hop and send writing samples (at least three) to bigsto@deadendhiphop.com by FEB. 1st. 2016
I look forward to getting your applications!
-Peace and God Bless
