Brett Klassen is an artist I’ve seen grow for years now and a while back he sent me his album “Hopes Hotel” which he describes as post hip-hop where he’s not limited to the narrow view of the genre. “Hopes Hotel” is what Klassen calls the building that he lives in and this project is a reflective piece on himself and the environment in which he lives through spoken word, rap and instrumentals.
