Minus the autotuned hook which I could not quite connect with, Atlanta rapper Brandon Rossi came through with a pretty catchy song. One of the first things that stood out was the piano, which served as a good intro to the song. However when the hook hit, many may tune out, understandably so, but if they give it a shot they may fuck with it. I hear a lot of Atlanta music so while Brandon Rossi may have subscribed to some of the sounds local to the area, he still found a way to avoid all of it. With the way the music is heading here in the city, he can definitely carve out a name for himself among the multitude of artists. “Pure At Heart” is off his upcoming debut album and with the right push, I could see this making some moves here in the city and beyond. It’s catchy.
