Azad Right – Bad Energy (Prod by Quantic)

January 23, 2014 by deadendhiphop

Azad Right just launched his new #GetRightTuesday bi-weekly feature. Each week, check back for a new song in support of his upcoming project For The Hopeful.

“Bad Energy”, produced by Quantic, is the first release. Here is what Azad had to say about the record:

“This was originally the outro song on my upcoming project, For The Hopeful, but I felt the need to drop it now. This is dedicated to the lives that we’ve lost in the recent weeks out here in my city. Some I knew, some I didn’t get a chance to meet in this life. If there’s a time for coming together and harmonizing, it’s now. There’s no room for any bad energy. My heart goes out to the fallen.”

Upon listening to it, I gotta add that I like this cut. It has a jazzy feel to it without being to jazzy — if that makes sense.
