Alterbeats – True Rhyme (ft. Divine) [Video]

July 2, 2012 by deadendhiphop

Alterbeats continues the album campaign for their debut producer compilation The French Revolution with the visuals for the album cut “True Rhyme,” featuring Divine of Brooklyn’s Walt Whitman Houses, which was once home to Just-Ice and Ol’ Dirty Bastard.  A dedicated student of the craft and inspired largely by The God Emcee Rakim, Divine takes you on a tour of his world; from his project stairwells and rooftops, to the lab and his to house of worship and back.  “This is true rhyme, true crime, true divine/ Get paid for my displays, what I move through the mind/ My days shine, bless a pen with a smooth rhyme/ You get lost in my thoughts, but get it in due time.”  The French Revolution is now available!
