Well, it’s official. Wale is signed to Rick Ross’s Mayback Music. I think this is great news for Wale who has the potential. While “Attention Deficit” is a good clean album, it wasn’t great. Wale will still be managed by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation. Via Twitter, Wale announced:
“The music wont change..the energy will,” Wale tweeted. “Can’t wait till y’all hear the new music.”
Mark Ronson’s Allido Records distributed “Attention Deficit” through Interscope Records. It had heavy features on it but not heavy sales. Good for Wale.
