Ryan Bronson drops the visuals for his thought provoking song “Through My Eyez” [music video]

October 9, 2018 by Donnie

Indie rap act Ryan Bronson takes us through his views on the world on his latest release titled “Through My Eyez”.  The record is a personal outlook on the state of affairs of what is going on in and around the world. He focuses on several issues from the police brutality, racism, teen-suicide, mental illness and much more. Another angle he approaches the topic from is that of a millennial, noting that society has changed a whole lot compared to the era of our parents. He points out that bridging the gap is necessary and the lack thereof adds to the issues at hand.

The visual was directed by Erin Koral and shows the artist performing against a dark lif backdrop spliced with images from several newsreels. “Through My Eyez” is taken from his mixtape “The $mithTape”

Ryan Bronson is a staunch advocate of Mental Health Awareness and has donated his voice and money to the cause. His older records such as “Misunderstood” and “Roots” all talk about his personal experience after a short stay in a mental hospital for Anxiety & Depression issues in 2015 and his recovery respectively.
