Outasight Premieres New Single w/ Billboard; Featured in Bud Light Lime Ad!

It’s official, Outasight released what is undoubtedly the first full-fledged summer anthem of 2015 today, as “The Wild Life” premiered over on Billboard.com. “The Wild Life” was the first song that Outasight wrote upon trading in the secluded studio of his native Yonkers last fall for the sunny vibes of Los Angeles. As Outasight tells Billboard.com, The summery sound of “The Wild Life” is a direct result of the city’s “good times and good weather”. You can stream the track on OU’s Soundcloud page or purchase it on any of your favorite digital download services such as iTunes or Amazon.

“The Wild Life”, while decidedly an OU creation, pays tribute to vintage 70’s funk such as James Brown and Parliament Funkadelic. Fittingly, Bud Light Lime has tagged it as the centerpiece of their new summer campaign. Starting later this week, you’ll also get the chance to preview the official video for “The Wild Life” exclusively through Shazam-ing the track via the Bud Light Lime spot.

After extensive major label success with his platinum-selling single “Tonight Is The Night”, Outasight will be self-releasing his new album “Chasing A Ghost” later this year. A testament to the tremendous personal and creative growth OU experienced over the past few years, by releasing “Chasing A Ghost” sans label support Outasight has created a situation where he is able to “create the album I wanted to make, and can proudly say I love every song on it.” Stay tuned throughout the spring and summer as Outasight continues to unveil more audible treats from “Chasing The Ghost”.

Outasight is a Yonkers born-and-bread singer/songwriter/rapper whose rise to prominence took him from a star of the New York City mixtape circuit to a record deal with Warner Bros. Records. He’s best known for his single “Tonight Is the Night”, which you might recall from the 2011 Pepsi Commercial featuring Ray Charles, Britney Spears, Kanye West, Michael Jackson and Mariah Carey. “Tonight Is The Night” was also the main them to the 2012 NHL All Star game, at which Outasight performed, and the 1000th episode of WWE Monday Night RAW. Capitalizing on the success of “Tonight Is The Night” and the strength of the overall album, Outasight’s major-label debut Nights Like These (Warner Bros. Records) debuted November 23rd, 2012 and peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Heatseeker’s Chart.
