Mr. MFN eXquire: “Brainiac” [Album Stream]

brainiac

I almost just made a joke about an EP being on rEPeat, which would look good on a shirt maybe, so I’m back on my scheming bullshit. You know who else is back? Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire (Mr. MFN eXquire for the PG version). Today he released his Brainiac EP and after a quick listen, it’s dirty. Mr. eXquire’s lyrics are personal and as he points out in the first track, necessarily depressing from time to time. A lot of talk about bitches, which I don’t really relate to on account of I’ve forgotten how to love, but the production on this project is truly fantastic. Featuring the stylings of Parallel Thought, Canya Reial, The Alchemist, CONSTROBUZ, and BoweryBeats, each track has a unique feeling to it. “Bebop and Rocksteady” features Meyhem Lauren, who glides well over the smooth beat.

Currently my personal fave is still “Manboy” which has had time to sit since it released last week. If you’re digging Brainiac, you can purchase it on iTunes.  Or listen below.
