MC Bravado: “Same Old Song” [Music Video]

August 14, 2018 by Michael Stover

Fresh off a summer of touring the country with Vans Warped Tour, MC Bravado brings you “Same Old Song“, the latest single/video off his acclaimed “Like Water For Hangovers” project. Produced by Militant Marxman (who helmed the entirety of the album’s soundscapes), “Same Old Song” offers a vulnerable look into the gut-wrenching uncertainty that “complicated” breakups can bring. Directed by Mike Jon, the emotive visuals mark another artful entry in MC B’s ever-expanding catalog of nuanced but candid storytelling.

Like Water For Hangovers is the third full-length LP from MC Bravado, Baltimore’s favorite Rapper/English Teacher. The 16 song project was produced entirely by Militant Marxman, another member of Bravado’s Cypher Junkies collective. The album showcases a marriage of Marxman’s golden era crate alchemy and dusty sensibilities with MC B’s ever-varying sense of cadence and stylistic punches. Brought to you by Soulspazm, featuring Statik Selektah and many more, Like Water For Hangovers is the epitome of “Old School, New School need to know this” and can be found wherever you stream or download music.
