“We Living In These Dark Times” by Uncommon Nasa

July 24, 2014 by deadendhiphop

Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard about the horrible murder (YES, I said MURDER) of Eric Garner on the streets of New York City by the NYPD. If not, I urge you to do a simple Google search and read up on what transpired. Not so you can have a light bit of gossip for your day…but so you can truly understand just how dangerous it is out here. It’s bad enough that we fear for our lives being taken by peers in our own communities, but the fact that we have to also fear those that are supposed to protect us is utterly disgusting. Well, like an artist is supposed to do, Uncommon Nasa spoke out about it in the best way he knows how. Check out his track “We Living In These Dark Times” produced by Black-Tokyo. Afterwards, hit him up on Twitter at @UncommonNasa and let him know what you thought.
