Kendrick Lamar – untitled unmastered. Album Review | DEHH

Buy: Kendrick Lamar – untitled unmastered.

Kenrick Lamar shocked everyone last week when he released a new EP. ‘untitled unmastered.’ is a collection of songs and performances recorded during the To Pimp A Butterfly sessions. After Kendrick’s Grammy performance, Lebron tweeted Top Dawg asking him to drop the tracks. The true story is that Lebron saw Beezy’s tweet saying Kendrick should release the songs as his version of Nas’s ‘The Lost Tapes’ and stole it for himself. So let’s all #ThankBeezy4Kendrick.

We spoke on whether Kendrick should release the tracks earlier this year which led to a debate split down the middle. At the top of the week, we followed that discussion up with our reactions to the surprise release. Here is our official review of Kendrick’s new project ‘untitled unmastered.’
