Joell Ortiz & Apollo Brown: “Timberlan’d Up” (feat. Royce Da 5’9)

September 24, 2018 by Michael Stover

If you aren’t aware Joell Ortiz (formerly of Slaughterhouse) and Apollo Brown have teamed to released an LP called “Mona Lisa” which is slated to come out in October. A couple weeks ago the duo released their first single in “Decisions” and listen I love every Apollo Brown released but Joell Ortiz is showing he’s not here to mince words or play games. The duo returns with their second single in “Timberlan’d Up” which features Royce Da 5’9.

I mean in all honesty I shouldn’t have to pitch this to you, you’re getting two of the hardest emcees in existence over a beat from one of the best producers to exist. This is the only feature on “Mona Lisa” and rightfully so, also props to Royce for shouting out A3C. You can stream “Timberlan’d Up” below and if you missed it you can stream their first single “Decisions” right HERE.
