September 26, 2018 by Donnie

After taking some time off from making music, indie hip-hop act James Watts  returns with a self produced single titled “Twenty Eight”.  Having spent the last twelve months in the studio experimenting and retooling his sound prior to the song’s debut, Watts has found his sonic lane, infusing the core tenets of golden era boom-bap production with bright live instrumentation and powerful vocal melodies. Armed with a smooth flow and precise lyrical imagery, he takes the listener for a ride into his world complete with all the ups and downs. He doesn’t mince his words or emotions annd truly delivers a blend of street and spiritual elements.
