Philadelphia’s Corey Lee has been grinding for a minute now, performing all over the country and putting in work for Dinner Land. Back in March the Philly native released “October Intro” which had my ears perked for what was to come.
Well my friends, finally and I mean FINALLY, we have a project from Corey Lee called “Stillwater”. Corey Lee teamed up with New York producer Birthday to give us a three track EP. Each track capturing a different vibe and sound, but remaining consistent throughout. Sometimes when we get a one emcee, one producer EP, listeners forget about the soundscapes created to give the emcee a voice. However on “Stillwater” Birthday is given airspace to just let the beat ride and it’s beautiful and works seamlessly.
You can stream “Stillwater” below, word to House of Blaze who helped cook up the last joint on the album “Can’t Be Everybody’s Friend”.
