DEHH Premiere: @brandnsmith presents: “Brandon Smith”

Dallas emcee Brandon Smith is here with his self-titled debut mixtape. Now it’s easy to write off rappers these days for putting out tapes, but I honestly feel like Brandon Smith is onto something different. His lyrics are filled with braggadocio and storytelling, he mixes underground sounds with it and it works.

The beats sound a bit dated but it adds to the grimy, underground feel the production has and honestly even his lyrics fit the tone as well. We’ll dive a bit deeper in the coming days but for now, make sure you peep the tape below and if you like what you hear, you can download it for free.
