Big Daddy Kane Added to A3C

Talk about exciting news hitting the inbox. If you have not heard, Big Daddy Kane AND M.O.P. both have been added to the 2011 A3C festival lineup.

The Red Bull Academy presents “An Evening with Big Daddy Kane: Sowing the Seeds of Hip Hop” and it will take place Saturday, October 9th. The night will pay tribute to the birthplace of hip-hop New York, New York. It kicks off with a conversation with Kane on his career, hip hop and more. It then transcends into a journey through the 5 boroughs of with a showcase of hip hop records spun by Da Beatminerz with performances from Skyzoo, J-Live, Jean Grae, and Boy Jones (Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s son).

Popular duo M.O.P. will headline the AllHipHop.com Breeding Ground Showcase on Saturday, October 8 along with Dead Prez. The showcase also features Elzhi (of Slum Village), Ras Kass, REKS, Termanology, Killa Kyleon, Paten Locke, Issa and DJ Statik Selektah and is hosted by Atlanta radio personality Jay Force.

The festival takes place here in Atlanta, October 6-8 at The Masquerade. A3C Hip Hop Festival tickets are available on the A3C website. 3-day passes are $40 online and $45 at the door.
