Beat Tape of the Week – M31RK (Sonatine)

m31rk

M31RK (pronounced “Merk”), releases his 9 Track Project “Sonatine”, he trades soul samples for cutting synths, without deserting the hard drums and snapping snares of his previous work. The cross-genre project pushes the envelope forming a sound replicating the marriage of hip hop, electro, drum & bass and house.  As production partner and operations manager for critically acclaimed music producer !llmind, M31RK has had an opportunity to work and interact with a bevy of artists, ranging from hip hop to K-Pop, which has influenced a notable change in his well-known style. You can stream and download this project on his bandcamp and/or soundcloud.
