2017 Atlantic Division Preview (Featuring Rob Lopez of Def Pen Sports)

Atlantic Division Preview

Hello everyone I am Chris Platte and welcome back to Strictly Hoop Talk! This podcast is the second of 6 division preview podcasts to be released before the NBA season tips off. In each division my guests and I will recap every team’s offseason, offer a little gambling advice on the Vegas over/unders and discuss the most important topics facing each team this season. Next up is the Atlantic Division! Rob Lopez Chief Editor of Def Pen Sports and covers the New York Knicks returns to the show to break down the division he is most plugged in to. In this podcast we break down the Brooklyn Nets rebuild, talk about the young core of prospects and how this team should continue to build moving forward. Following the Nets we jump into the new darlings of the NBA the Philadelphia 76ers! (Trust the process!) Rob and I evaluate how this core can fit together moving forward and how good this team can be in the present. For the New York Knicks Rob and I dive deep on the Melo drama, their roster construction and what area of development Kristaps needs to take the next step. For Toronto we discuss the roster changes and what players have to step up, the team’s ceiling and where they fall in the eastern conference. Lastly, we discuss the major roster overhaul in Boston, how we see this team developing, and what other trade tricks Danny Ainge has up his sleeve. All this plus much more! Enjoy!
